Luxury Vinyl

Luxury vinyl that looks like the real thing

Waterproof, pet-friendly, and budget-friendly. LVP and SPC planks for every room.

The modern alternative to hardwood

Luxury vinyl plank has come a long way. Today's LVP looks and feels remarkably like real wood — with deep embossing, realistic grain patterns, and wide-plank formats. The difference? It's 100% waterproof, scratch-resistant, and costs significantly less.

We install both LVP (flexible vinyl core) and SPC (rigid stone polymer core). SPC is denser and more dent-resistant — ideal for high-traffic areas. Both use a click-lock system that floats over your existing subfloor.

Perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and homes with kids or pets. Many of our East Bay customers choose LVP for the whole house — it creates a seamless look from room to room.

LVP FAQ

Luxury vinyl questions

Yes. Quality LVP and SPC (stone polymer composite) are 100% waterproof. The core doesn't absorb water, making them ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements. We only install waterproof-rated products.

LVP has a vinyl core and is waterproof. Laminate has a wood-fiber core (HDF) and will swell if water gets underneath. For any room with moisture risk, LVP is the better choice. Both can look like real wood.

Absolutely. LVP is one of the best options for concrete slabs — no nailing or gluing required in most cases. Click-lock planks float over a thin underlayment. We'll check your slab for moisture levels first.

Quality LVP lasts 15-25 years with normal use. SPC (rigid core) is even more durable. The wear layer thickness matters most — we recommend 20mil or higher for residential use.

Most LVP benefits from a thin underlayment for sound dampening and minor subfloor imperfections. Some products have it built in. We'll recommend the right underlayment for your situation.
